OCTOBER 2005

15 October:   Jeff was interviewed by Colin Somerville on BBC Radio Scotland's Brand New Country Show, which was broadcast on Friday 4 November 2005.   Click here to listen online.  The show is archived until Friday night, 11 November, when it's superseded by the next show.   Jeff's interview begins 1hr 8 minutes into the show.  You can fast-forward to get there, but the rest of the show is great too!  Songs played:  Postcard from Topeka, American Dream, Sugar Blue, Good Time (live).  Colin also played a clip of 'Temptation' from Emma Foxall, whose album Jeff produced in Nashville in August.  

Jeff's "Just Like Everyman" is included in Uncut magazine's November compilation CD. 

A transcript of Jeff's interview on Ralph McLean's show, broadcast on BBC Northern Ireland on 8 October, is now on the Press page.

Miles of Music

Somewhere South of Wonder is re-released on 11 October 2005, to coincide with the launch of the Cameron Crowe film, Elizabethtown. (See August, below)    You can buy Elizabethtown from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk 

The song Sugar Blue, which appears in Elizabethtown, is taken from Somewhere South of Wonder, which you can buy from our Online Store.



8 October:  Hear Jeff's interview with Ralph McLean on McLean's Country, BBC Northern Ireland, Saturday 8 October 2005 - where he discusses his relocation from Nashville and his contribution to the film Elizabethtown.    **Only available in the BBC archive until Saturday 15 October 2005**  (The interview starts around 1h 10mins into the show)

AUGUST 2005

17 August:  Confirmation has been received today that "Sugar Blue", from Jeff's "Somewhere South of Wonder" CD,  will be in the Cameron Crowe film "Elizabethtown", and also on the soundtrack CD.  The film, starring Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon, is to be released on October 14.  The soundtrack CD will be released on September 13 (US) and 19 (UK).   Watch the music trailer for the film at  http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/elizabethtown/music_medium.html

17 August: Bruce Springsteen has chosen Jeff's "Sugar Blue" as one of the songs in his "walk in" music selection (played in the auditorium as the audience walk in).  Bruce selects the music personally and makes the compilation CDs himself.  You can visit Bruce's website www.brucespringsteen.net and see the wide range of music he's chosen.

16 August:  New show added in Swansea, Wales, Wednesday 7 September, and a house concert in Wivenhoe, nr Colchester.

13 August:  Netherlands dates are now on the Tour Dates page, plus an additional show in Ireland on 26 September.   More dates will be added, including a show in Paris. 

10 August: Jeff spent a week in Nashville from 15 August, producing an album for a singer called Emma Foxall.

2 August:  Colorado radio station KRFC again has Jeff on its "Live at Lunch" programme this Thursday, 4 August 2005.  The hour-long show starts at noon Mountain Standard Time, which is 7pm UK time

JULY 2005

20 July: Please note date change for the show at the Borderline, London.   This show is now to be Monday 12 September.

3 July: New shows in Ireland added to the Tour Dates.  Shows in Netherlands to be announced soon.  There also will be a couple more Ireland dates added shortly.  Keep coming back to check!

JUNE 2005

15 June: More photographs!  This time from the show at The Mishawaka Amphitheater, nr Fort Collins, Colorado.  Check the Photographs section.

Also an extra show has been added on Saturday 18 June - at the Lodo Music Festival in Denver.

MAY 2005

29 May: Some photographs from the show at The Basement in Nashville have been added to the Photographs section.

26 May: Jeff is playing at The Basement in Nashville on Saturday 28 May.   A new item from the Nashville Scene has been added to the Press page.

MARCH 2005

29 March: Jeff will be touring the UK commencing 6 September 2005.   As soon as the dates are finalised they will be available on the Tour Dates page.

FEBRUARY 2005

17 February: If you have a request or message to pass on to Jeff during his appearance on KRFC on Friday 18 February (streaming on krfcfm.org - see note below) at Noon mountain time (7 pm GMT), you can e-mail during the show and the message will be passed along live on the air.

7 February:  Jeff will be giving a one-hour live acoustic performance on Fort Collins radio station KRFC's Live @ Lunch show on Friday February 18 2005.   The program will begin at 12 noon Mountain Time (2pm Eastern, 11am Pacific, 7pm GMT) and can be heard streaming online at  krfcfm.org
