NOVEMBER 2001

13 November:   Whilst in Scotland, Jeff and Will recorded a contribution to BBC Radio Scotland's 'Brand New Opry' show, which has yet to be broadcast.   More details as they are available. 
2 November:   Jeff appeared with Will Kimbrough at the 12 Bar Club in London on October 31.  This show was webcast by Online TV UK, and the last 30 minutes of the show were archived.  Direct link to the webcast is http://www.musictv.com/band.asp?bid=1414




OCTOBER 2001

26 October:    For those interested, here's Jeff's setlist for the tour.   There may be some variation at each show.

26 October:    Jeff and Will will be appearing on the Keith Warmington Show on BBC Radio Bristol at 4:15pm on Friday October 26.
25 October:    Jeff and Will will be appearing on the Julia Hankin show on BBC Radio Newcastle at 2:15pm on Thursday October 25.
22 October:    A transcript of Jeff's interview on LBC is now in the Press pages.
20 October:    Jeff Finlin and Will Kimbrough recorded an item for the 'Weekend Wireless with Jon Briggs' radio show at LBC in London - http://www.lbc.co.uk - Jeff's segment, in which he was interviewed and played 'She's A Mama Now' live in the studio, was broadcast on Saturday October 20 at 11.20am.   Will's segment will be broadcast on Saturday October 27.   You can listen via the net at http://www.lbc.co.uk/lbc.ram
19 October:    Kevin Rapillo is again the drummer for the UK tour - he replaces Tommy Meyer. 
12 October:    The first date of the UK tour - Southampton - has had to be cancelled owing to unavoidable circumstances.
11 October:    Due to a combination of events, Pat Buchanan is unfortunately unable to make the upcoming tour.   However, respected musician Will Kimbrough is able to take his place and the tour will go ahead as planned.  Information about Will is at http://www.waxysilver.com/artists/will_kimbrough.html 
4 October:    Uncut magazine's November issue contains an advertisement for the October tour and a review of Original Fin. 
3 October:    Get Rhythm's November issue has a review of Original Fin.  Details on the Album Reviews page.

AUGUST 2001

12 August:   Jeff and his band played at 3rd & Lindsley, Nashville.  Show was broadcast via Nashville's Radio Lightning and webcast via http://www.wrlt.com   The show was archived for three weeks at http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=648883 . The members of Jeff's band who played at 3rd & Lindsley are:  Jeff Finlin (guitar, vocals), Pat Buchanan (guitar, bkgd vocals), Kevin Hornback (bass), Randy Leago (accordion, keyboards), Tommy Meyer (drums).
The Pat Buchanan Band is Pat Buchanan (guitar), Tom Bucovac (keyboards, guitar), Kevin Hornback (bass), Tommy Meyer (drums).




JULY 2001

18 July:   October tour dates announced.  The tour is billed as 'Jeff Finlin and the Pat Buchanan Band'.  Members for the tour will be:  Jeff Finlin, Pat Buchanan, Kevin Hornback and Tommy Meyer.




JUNE 2001

17 June:   Original Fin will shortly be released on the BMG label, with new cover art.




MAY 2001

APRIL 2001

13 April: Plans are afoot for Jeff and Pat to tour the UK for a second time this year - this is likely to be in late October 2001.  Keep checking for updates.   Both Jeff and Pat should have new albums available by then.

FEBRUARY 2001

28 February: Jeff's solo acoustic show at the 12 Bar Club, London was webcast via Online TV UK Registration with Online TV is required, and the webcasts use Windows Media Player. Jeff scheduled onstage at 22:00 hrs.
26 February:  Jeff appears solo at The Greys, Brighton.
24 February: Last night of the very successful band tour in Hull, where Jeff and Pat appear with Bob Cheevers.

21 February:  Live appearance on Ritz FM radio.  This was webcast.   They appeared at 11:40 GMT on the David Allan Show. http://www.ritz1035.com/  Jeff and Pat were interviewed and they played two songs live in the studio.  Jeff played Kisses From A Train.
19 February:  Jeff and Pat appear on BBC Radio Bristol. They were interviewed and two tracks were played, one from each CD, Tracks were:  "All The Umbrellas" and June.
18 February:  The Jeff Finlin & Pat Buchanan UK 2001 Tour got off to a great start in Manchester. Kevin Rapillo replaces the original drummer at very short notice, due to hospitalisation.  Bass player is Kevin Hornback.
14 February:  Setlist for the show at the Living Room was: Love and Happiness, Delta Down, She's a Mama Now, Waiting on a Flood, The Perfect Mark of Cain, Don't Know Why, Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands. 
13 February:  Jeff returns to play The Living Room, New York on Tuesday 13th.  This is another live webcast from Live on the Net.   The other artists playing are: Jane Kelly Williams; Jeff Finlin; Max Green; Chris Brown & Kate Fenner; Joan Wasser of Black Beetle.  There’s a link to the live webcast on both the Tour Dates page and the Webcasts Page.
9 February:  Rolling Stone have created a Jeff Finlin page on their website:  www.rollingstone.com
8 February:  Original Fin available in Virgin record stores and Borders bookstores in the UK.




JANUARY 2001

20 January: Jeff took part in The Songwriter Sessions on WPLN, Nashville Public Radio http://www.wpln.org/songwriters/songwriters.html    The 1-hr show will be available as an audio webcast for seven days only.   Also appearing were Tim Carroll and Jeff Holmes.  Setlist: Love and Happiness, Delta Down, Alchemy, West of Rome, Soho Rain.  Jeff played piano on Alchemy and Soho Rain.
17 January:  The Adelphi, Hull is the new venue for February 24. This replaces the show at King Tut's, Glasgow, which has been cancelled by the venue.   See Tour Dates for full details.
3 January:  Original Fin UK release date is January 22 2001.
