APRIL 2007

12 Apr:  News of Jeff's participation in a Seven Voices taping at Immersive Studios in Boulder, Colorado, on June 9 2007.  This information is from their website:

SEVEN VOICES PERFORMANCE SERIES
SEVEN VOICESTM is a live performance/HD-DVD/5.1 Surround Sound® project in production on our IMMERSIVE No.7 soundstage in Boulder, CO. Featuring world-class, folksinger/songwriter artists, the SEVEN VOICES Series is designed to bridge that gap between these complete entertainers, whose stories and on-stage personalities are a big part of what bring their songs to life, and their studio recordings. Check back for a live performance schedule, ticket information and DVD purchasing information.

On Saturday, June 9, 2007, Immersive Studios will produce three additional episodes of its Seven Voices™ Artist Series. This production will feature three distinctly different artists live on the No.7 soundstage. Each individual artist performance will be before a different audience and captured on HD-video and 5.1 Surround Sound.

"...Next, with a 6:30 p.m. performance, is Jeff Finlin, a Fort Collins-based singer/songwriter by way of Nashville. Jeff delivers his captivating, winsomely winding stories through song and with a voice that just makes you want to pop a cold one on the veranda on a hot summer day while absent-mindedly analyzing the flight patterns of dragonflies buzzing around the garden flowers after a soothing rain. Playing both solo acoustic guitar and with his band, Jeff will take you to places you never been and gently drop you off wanting more."
